Epson ET-2500 Printer Driver Download and Wireless Setup
Epson Printer ET-2500 Setup, Software Driver Setup Download, User Manual, Wireless Setup and Net Setup Printer Scanner For Mac, Windows, Linux – The Epson EcoTank ET-2550 is a multifunction printer, photo copier as well as the scanner that could hold sufficient ink to last two years without a solitary refill. The succeeding refill containers are also more affordable than conventional cartridges, supplying prospective cost savings over the lasting. The Epson EcoTank ET-2550 could appear like a typical small form inkjet printer, however there’s one big distinction: instead of the standard inkjet cartridges that many printers utilize to put images and also text theoretically, the EcoTank series features a collection of ink bottles that you vacant on your own right into a huge, refillable tank on the side. yet they do away with traditional ink cartridges as well as change them with large, refillable ink tanks that provide a much lower expense each web page over the lifetime of the printer.
The rate of the Epson Printer ET-2500 includes 4 bottles of ink– cyan, magenta, yellow and also black– that must last for 4,000 web pages of black message, and also 6,500 web pages of text-and-graphics. When those inks run out you just purchase new containers of ink as well as spray them into the tanks on the side of the printer. Each bottle expenses ₤ 7.99, which works out at around 0.2 p per web page for black text, and also 0.4 p for color. That’s considerably less costly compared to any kind of standard inkjet printer from opponents such as HP or Canon– and damages alternatives such as HP’s Instant Ink subscription scheme. The only disadvantage, actually, is that you need to utilize the printer on a routine, everyday basis over a duration of 2-3 years in order to take advantage of those savings. Nonetheless, Epson provides a three-year warranty on all its Ecotank printers, so the ET-2500 is clearly a printer that’s indicated to last.
The Ecotank designs, the ET-2500 is a multifunction tool that includes printer, scanner and also copier features, along with both wifi and USB connectivity. It’s not one of the most sophisticated printer we’ve ever before seen, as the large ink tanks bolted into the side of the tool look rather awkward, as well as including a number of inches to the overall size of the printer. There’s no inner paper tray either, so you need to feed paper in via a tray that protrudes from the back of the printer. The lower rate of this design involves a few other concessions also. There’s no LCD control panel whatsoever, no choice for duplex (two-sided) printing, and also no support for Apple’s AirPlay for iOS tools– although Epson does use its very own iPrint application, which is offered for iphone and also Android gadgets.

How to connect an Epson ET-2500 Series Wireless Printer
- Make sure you know your network name (SSID) and network password.
- For Direct USB Connection, Make sure the USB cable is connected on both ends of computer and the printer on the USB Port. (USB Cable is not included in the sales package)
The wireless printer can be “connected” via a wireless adapter installed in a computer or connected through a wireless router. To connect to your local network the printer must be set to settings compatible with your network. To set the settings on the adapter you must first connect to the printer in its current or default state.
Outline of the Process:
- Determine the settings of the printer
- Reset the settings to the default
- Configure a wireless computer or device to talk to the printer
- Set the printer to the desired settings
- Install the printer drivers and install the printer under Windows
Getting Initial Printer Settings
To setup an Epson wireless printer, you must get the current settings of the wireless printer by running the printer self test. To do this hold down the feed button while turning on the printer. The printer will print a list of initial settings including SSID (network ID), Mode (Ad-Hoc or Infrastructure), current IP address (default: 192.168.192.168)
The self test lets you know if your printer is operating properly. It checks the control circuits, printer mechanisms, print quality, control software version, and DIP switch settings.
This test is independent of any other equipment or software, so it is a good idea that run it when you first set up the printer. If the self test works correctly, it suggests the problem may be with the other equipment or the software, not the printer.
- To Run the Self Test
Make sure the printer is turned off and the roll paper cover is closed properly.
While holding down the FEED button, turn on the printer using the switch on the top front of the printer.
- The self-test prints the printer settings and then prints the following cuts the paper, and pauses.
- A sheet will print showing the MAC address, SSID, mode, wireless channel number, authorization method (None, WEP), Gateway (GW), IP address and IP assignment method.
- The network specific settings have been highlighted above.
- Check that the settings are reset by running the wireless card self-test, above.
